Description | The Aussie arm of South Korean software group Gridwiz has joined forces with clean energy project developer LKA Developments to deploy 100 MWh of battery energy storage capacity across Australia. The initiative involves delivering five BESS projects of 20 MWh each within the National Electricity Market (NEM). A 20-MWh pilot scheme is planned to become shovel-ready in 2026 and reach commercial operations in the first half of 2027. LKA Developments will lead project development activities, while Gridwiz will handle investment, financing, and operational optimisation. The entire 100-MWh portfolio is planned to go online in late 2027. |
