Description | Information MSGP Infra Pvt. Ltd. has come up with 11.5 MW Waste to Energy Project with a ticket size of 238 INR Crores. This project in Solid Waste Management sub-sector involves The project is ready to commence, with all necessary statutory clearances in place. It is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project M/s MSGP Infra Tech Pvt Ltd is a concessionaire of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike [BBMP] and is operating 750 tons per day Waste to Composting project at its Waste Tech Park which is located at Chiguranahalli, Doddaballapura taluk, Bengaluru Rural. This project is set up in about 100 acres land owned by promoters of MSGP and is operating since 2014. The plant is processing about 750 tons of waste and producing about 150 tons of Organic Compost every day. MSGP is setting up a Waste to Energy project of 11.5 MW capacities at its Waste Tech Park. The project will be using 450 tons of RDF [Refuse Derived Fuel] as raw material for power generation. The project will generate 11.5 MW of power, with an exportable surplus of 9.5 MW, which is sold to Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited [BESCOM]. The Govt. Order has been obtained from Govt. of Karnataka and the Power Purchase Agreement [PPA] with BESCOM has been executed. The PPA price is INR 7.08 per unit. |
