Description | The 14th Street project will keep the roadway between Fire Tower and York Road/Paramore Drive at two lanes but add a median, 5-foot sidewalks, 5-foot bike lanes, and 15-foot utility easements on both sides. Between York/Paramore and Red Banks, the road will remain four lanes with a bike lane on one side. Existing stoplights will remain and a new stoplight will be added at Quail Ridge Road. The concrete center median will allow only right-in and right-out traffic with limited left turns and one U-turn bulb. No buildings are scheduled for demolition or relocation, but 36 parcels have been purchased for utility easements. |
