The project will deploy XGS Energy's proprietary geothermal technology, which enables geothermal power production with zero operating water use, to the PNM electric grid and support Meta's data center operations. The project will be developed in two phases, both projected to be operational by 2030, and aims to increase geothermal electricity production in New Mexico by a factor of ten. |
