The project involves setting up two 800 MW units under the design, build, finance, own, and operate (DBFOO) model in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh. The company will invest around ₹21,000 crore towards the plant and related infrastructure. Both units are to be commissioned within 60 months of the appointed date. This project includes a first-of-its-kind adoption of the greenshoe option in a thermal power tender in India, helping Madhya Pradesh meet its growing electricity demand. |
