The city of Edgewater started dredging operations at the outlet of the 18th Street Canal in Veterans Park as part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance efforts to support stormwater management and maintain infrastructure. Approximately 4,500 cubic yards of material will be dredged to remove buildup and support stormwater flow, helping the long-term function of the system.
