Description | Construction of a 19 Million Litres Per Day (MLD) wastewater treatment plant in Kutaisi, Georgia, funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB). The plant is designed for future expansion up to 56 MLD and will serve the third-largest city in Georgia. The project includes demolition of the existing plant, construction of the new facility, installation of an effluent pipeline to the river, advanced mechanical and biological treatment with nutrient removal, sludge treatment facilities, solar sludge drying systems, odour control systems, and associated pumping infrastructure. The EPC phase is scheduled to be completed within 36 months followed by 12 months of Operation and Maintenance (O&M). |
