Description | The auction of transmission facilities aims to grant public electricity transmission services for the construction, operation and maintenance of transmission facilities that will form part of the Basic Network of the National Interconnected System. Recommended for qualification through CPPI Resolution No. 274/2023, of 06/21/2023, and qualified through Decree No. 11,581, of 06/27/2023, Transmission Auction No. 1/2024 will include 6,464 km of new lines transmission, 9,200 MVA in transformation capacity, distributed in 15 lots. Investments of around R$ 18.2 billion are estimated and the generation of 35 thousand direct jobs, distributed across 14 States of the Federation. Public Consultation No. 030/2023 was opened for the period from 09/01/2023 to 09/23/2023. In it, subsidies and additional information were collected to improve the notice proposal. The notice was published on 02/22/2024. Transmission Auction No. 1/2024 was held on 03/28/2024, at the headquarters of B3, in São Paulo. The average discount for the event was 40.78%, which represents savings for the end consumer of around R$30.1 billion. All fifteen lots were negotiated. The term for commercial operation of the projects varies from 36 to 72 months, for concessions lasting 30 years, counting from the signing of the contracts. Lot 1, consisting of transmission lines with a length of 538 km, located in the states of Ceará and Piauí, was won by Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S/A (Eletronorte), with an offer worth R$ 162,385. 000.00, representing a discount of 42.93% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) predicted by the Agency. EDP Energias do Brasil S/A won lot 2, consisting of transmission lines with a length of 537 kilometers (km), located in the state of Piauí. The offer presented was worth R$ 135,000,000.00, representing a discount of 45.97%. After open outcry bidding, Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S/A (Eletronorte) won lot 3. The offer presented was worth R$ 114,490,000.00, representing a discount of 26.94%. Lot 3 consists of transmission lines, 337 km long, located in the state of Ceará. Lot 4, consisting of transmission lines with a length of 411 km, located in the states of Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco and Alagoas, was purchased by FIP Development Fund Warehouse. The offer presented was in the amount of R$ 111,720,254.00, representing a discount of 30.50%. Lot 5, consisting of transmission lines with a length of 1,116 km, located in the states of Piauí, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas and Bahia, was purchased by Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S/A (Eletronorte) for the amount of R $302,000,000.00, representing a discount of 31.14% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP). FIP Development Fund Warehouse won lot 6, with an offer worth R$ 284,388,879.00, representing a discount of 49.60%. Lot 6 consists of transmission lines, with a length of 951 km, located in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais. EDP Trading Comercialização e Serviços de Energia S/A won lot 7, consisting of transmission lines with a length of 390 km, located in the states of Tocantins, Bahia and Piauí. The offer presented was worth R$51,057,800.00, representing a discount of 41.05%. Lot 8, consisting of a substation, with 1,500 MVA of power, located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, was purchased by Brasiluz Eletrificação e Eletrônica LTDA, with an offer worth R$ 16,050,000.00, representing a discount of 43 .27%. Lot 9, consisting of a substation with 300 MVA of power, and a 4 km transmission line, located in the state of Santa Catarina, was purchased by Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil (Eletronorte), for the amount of R$11,637,539. .00 representing a discount of 59.39% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP). COX Brasil S/A won lot 10 with an offer worth R$ 29,290,000.00, representing a discount of 43.49% in relation to the Permitted Annual Revenue (RAP). Lot 10 consists of a transmission line, with a length of 104 km, located in the state of São Paulo. Lot 11, consisting of a transmission line, with a length of 75 km, located in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, was purchased by the Paraná consortium, formed by Mega Energy Participações LTDA, Enermais Energia LTDA, Interalli Holding e Participações LTDA and AMG Participações in Energia LTDA, in the amount of R$ 20,400,000.00, representing a discount of 42.42%. Lot 12, consisting of transmission lines with a length of 394 km, located in the states of Maranhão and Piauí, was purchased by Energisa S/A, after open outcry bids, for the amount of R$ 112,500,000.00, representing a discount of 29.99%. EDP Energias do Brasil won lot 13 with an offer worth R$ 102,404,097.00, representing a discount of 36.21% in relation to the Permitted Annual Revenue (RAP). Lot 13 consists of transmission lines, with a length of 461 km, located in the states of Piauí, Maranhão and Tocantins. After open outcry bidding, FIP Development Fund Warehouse won lot 14, consisting of a transmission line, with a length of 636 km, located in the state of Bahia. for the amount of R$ 162,920,000.00, representing a discount of 53.57% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP). The Olympus XVII Consortium, formed by Alupar Investimento S.A. and Infra II Investment S.A, won lot 15, with an offer worth R$ 154,400,000.00, representing a discount of 33.50%.
