The auction of transmission facilities aims to grant public electricity transmission services for the construction, operation and maintenance of transmission facilities that will form part of the Basic Network of the National Interconnected System. Recommended for qualification through CPPI Resolution No. 215/2021, 12/16/2021, and qualified through Decree 10,978, dated 02/23/2022, Transmission Auction No. 1/2022 included 5,425 km of transmission lines and 6,180 MVA of transformation capacity, distributed in 13 lots. Investments of around R$15.3 billion are estimated and the generation of 31,419 direct jobs, distributed across 13 States of the Federation. Public Consultation No. 071/2021 was opened for the period from 11/26/2021 to 01/10/2022. In it, subsidies and additional information were collected to improve the notice proposal. On 05/24/2022, the Bidding Notice was published by ANEEL. Transmission Auction No. 1/2022 was held on 6/30/2022, at B3's headquarters, in São Paulo and ended with an average discount of 46.16%. All 13 lots were won by 10 different winners. The winning companies will be entitled to receive the Permitted Annual Revenue for providing the service from the commercial operation of the projects. The term of the works varies from 42 to 60 months and the 30-year concessions are valid from the signing of the contracts.
