Description | State-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids for setting up a 2 GW solar project with co-located energy storage systems. The project includes an Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) grid-connected project with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh Energy Storage Systems (ESS) under a tariff-based competitive bidding process. The project locations can be chosen by bidders at their discretion and cost. The ESS component must be co-located with the solar project, with a mandatory installation of ESS of at least 0.5 MW/2 MWh capacity for every 1 MW of project capacity. |
