The 55-story skyscraper will rise 1,226 feet and encompass nearly 2 million square feet of office space, becoming the second-tallest building at the World Trade Center. It will be owned and occupied entirely by American Express under a long-term ground lease with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The building will feature more than an acre of outdoor space including terraces and gardens overlooking the city skyline. The project is developed by Silverstein Properties and designed by Foster + Partners. |
