Description | The largest complex of energy storage systems with a capacity of 200 MW has been launched in Ukraine. The complex consists of six installations located in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, with a total storage capacity of 400 MWh, enough to supply electricity to 600,000 homes for two hours. The project was built by DTEK in partnership with the American company Fluence Energy, with investments amounting to 125 million euros. The system provides frequency maintenance and power reserve services to enhance energy sustainability and reliability. |
