The project involves the procurement of 200 MW of wind power on a long-term basis for a maximum period of up to 12 years or the balance useful life of the wind turbine generator from the date of execution of the PPA or the date of expiry of the energy purchase agreement (EPA) for existing wind power projects. The minimum capacity of the wind power project has been set as 0.225 MW and above at one site with a minimum bid capacity of 0.225 MW. The wind power generator will be allowed to repower the project as per its requirement for a maximum cumulative period of six months during the entire PPA term of up to 12 years. Type-certified wind turbine models will be allowed in case of wind turbine conversions.
