Through the fund generated we are going to co-finance the acquisitions of 3-4 non-national European films and the P&A for the release of 2-3 titles. The acquisitions of 2 medium-low budget and 1 higher budget European films will probably take place in the context of upcoming Festival and Markets, such as Cannes and Venice. Along with the other 3 titles already acquired (two European and one non-European), they will complete our line-up of theatrical releases for the next months. The objective is to strengthen our position as medium-small independent distributor, to have a better reach to the audience through investments in advertising and obtain more resources to deliver to Italian theatres high quality titles. In order to exploit the opportunities offered by the new digital environment, we might include in the project the on-line release of smaller titles, through our recently developed company platform CineUBU, or other Vod services. The combination of the activities planned will hopefully result in the company better presence in the market, a wider choice for cinephiles and cinema goers and a stronger circulation of films produced in the European Union.
