Description | The City of Edmonton completed more than 200 infrastructure projects in 2025, including the O-day’min Park warehouse project, Amisk wâciw âsokan – Beaver Hills Bridge footbridge, Holyrood supportive housing, and Blatchford Fire Station #8. Significant progress was made on major projects such as the Yellowhead Trail freeway conversion, Valley Line West and Capital Line South LRT expansions, Hawrelak Park rehabilitation, and Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre and Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre rehabilitation. The accelerated Valley Line roadwork plan for Stony Plain Road was successful, involving major intersection closures to speed up construction. The 50 Street bridge over Whitemud Drive reopened one year ahead of schedule. |
