The Twinning Committee of Montagny is planning a visit to Oleggio Castello this year in October. The events planned during such a visit and reported in the Work Plan are: 1. Video to present to our French Twins historical, artistic and social aspects of Oleggio Castello, including its surroundings 2. Guided tour of Oleggio Castello, including its surroundings and “Parco dei Lagoni di Mercurago”. The itinerary will be open to all participants and special activities will be planned for children if they will participate. 3. Workshop on women role evolution in recent years and status of gender equality today, where participants can work together. Focus on local traditions, traditional cuisine, or environmental sustainability using them as starting point and “Trojan horse” to have high adhesion and attention. Open discussion to compare Italian and French experiences. The objectives of this project, part of twinning activities between Oleggio Castello (OC) and Montagny (MON), are For the Guided tour of OC surroundings including “Parco dei Lagoni” 1.To build relationship and compare the mutual knowledge of respective languages. 2.To introduce our French Twins to cultural, social and environmental aspects of Oleggio Castello. 3.To show to our French Twins historical, artistic and social aspects of Oleggio Castello, including its surroundings. For the workshop on women role evolution in recent years and status of gender equality today 1.To explore the evolution of women's roles in recent years. 2.To examine the status of gender equality. 3. To promote dialogue and collaboration among participants, leveraging on local traditions, as entry points for discussion. The expected results of the project are: 1.Increased cultural understanding and exchange between the citizens of two towns. 2.Strengthened cooperation and partnership between the citizens of two towns. 3.Enhanced opportunities for citizens of the two towns to learn from each other and build relationships
