The 2025 Safe Community Project Zero campaign is an initiative launched by Enbridge Gas Ontario, the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council, and the London Fire Department to distribute more than 14,000 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to homes across London and Ontario. The program aims to eliminate fire- and carbon monoxide-related deaths, prioritizing seniors, vulnerable residents, and families who may not be able to afford alarms. It also includes Project Assist, which provides fire departments with training resources for fire prevention and emergency preparedness education.
