2026 - az aktív, tudatos és szolidáris polgárok találkozója

2026-07-22

During the event we initiate discussions, exchanges of opinions and experience sharing with international participation on topics such as self-government, volunteering, cultural richness, solidarity with citizens living with disadvantages, equal opportunities, and the process of becoming a digital citizen. We make it possible to present subjective attitudes, but we also consider it important to provide objective information. Thus, in addition to several non-formal discussion activities, we also involve relevant experts and institutions who provide first-hand information, e.g. about the initiative of the Council of Europe (2025 - European Year of Digital Citizenship Education), the European Voluntary Service or the work going on in the EP. Representatives of six countries will be present at the event (Bečej - Serbia, Bilje - Croatia, Frumoasa - Romania, Kóny and Markotabödöge - Hungary, Žitkovci - Slovenia, Lúč na Ostrove - Slovakia). We present good local government practices whose impact can be used in other communities and countries, as well as the opportunity to develop joint plans and proposals for tenders. Our event is open to all citizens to experience the diversity and cultural diversity of the EU. The cultural program of the partners not only makes it possible to spend time pleasantly, but also introduces new customs and new cultural elements to the participants. The interaction promotes a more tolerant attitude, a more open attitude towards the other's world, thoughts and culture. We also involve individuals living with a disadvantage, who are often pushed to the periphery of society. We present their creativity through an exhibition.
