2138 Kittredge Street Residential Development

planned

The project involves demolishing a four-unit residential building and replacing it with a 66-unit residential building at 2138 Kittredge Street in Berkeley. The new building will be 42,893 square feet in area and 82 feet high, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, with some units designated for very low and extremely low income. The ground level will include a resident lobby, bike room, and leasing office. The design features an articulated facade with narrow floor-to-ceiling windows in white and sandstone hues, contrasted with darker materials at the base level.
