Description | Information Steel Authority of India Limited [SAIL] has come up with 220 KV Transmission Line from Bonai Grid-Substation to Taldih Iron Mine with associated 220 KV Feeder Bay Extension at Bonai Grid with a ticket size of 70.82 INR Crores. This project in Manufacturing sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project It is a power infrastructure project is for wheeling of power from Grid Sub Station of OPTCL at Bonai to Taldih Iron Mine of SAIL which are about 44 km apart. 33 KV power will be drawn from Bonai and transported to Taldih through Transmission Line. The job involves extension of Bay at GSS Bonai and construction of 172 nos. Transmission towers over a stretch of 44 km. At Taldih the power will be received at Main Receiving Sub Station and will be stepped down to 33kv. This power will be fed to Ore Processing Plant and Equipments to run the mine including loading plant at Barsua Valley |
