24x7 Water Supply Project for Town Planning Schemes I-IV in Bhubaneswar

The Water Corporation of Odisha (Watco) has initiated a 24x7 water supply project for Town Planning Schemes I through IV, covering areas of Tamando and Chandaka on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The project includes building 11 elevated storage reservoirs and providing tap water connections to 5,191 households in TP Schemes I, II, and III, and 475 households in TP Scheme IV. Watco floated a tender to select a construction company to complete the project in two years and maintain it for another 60 months. The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is responsible for other infrastructure developments like roads and drainage, and Watco will later execute an underground sewerage project in the area.
