The system will provide 25 MW capacity with four hours of storage (100 MWh) and is designed to be scalable up to 4 GW. Energy Vault will provide its EVx 2.0 GESS technology, equipment, on-site engineering, project management, and training support. The partnership aims to license, co-develop, and deploy up to 4 GWh of GESS storage across the Southern African Development Community region by 2035. |
