Description | The project consists of storm sewer improvements in the area of 257-275 Southside Road in St. John’s. The scope of the project involves the installation of approximately 80m of large diameter storm sewer, complete with associated manholes, catch basins, outfall headwall and diversion chamber, to redirect storm runoff from the existing storm sewer to a proposed new outfall at the Waterford River. The project aims to address a recurring flooding issue at 257-275 Southside Road, associated with frequent inundation of the existing storm sewer, by redirecting a component of the flow directly to the Waterford River, while freeing up available capacity in the existing storm sewer. |
