The purpose of the auction of transmission facilities is to grant public electricity transmission services for the construction, operation and maintenance of transmission facilities that will form part of the Basic Network of the National Interconnected System. Qualified through Decree No. 10,653, of 03/19/2021, as recommended by CPPI Resolution No. 152/2020, 12/02/2020, Transmission Auction No. 2/2021 includes 902 km of transmission lines and 750 MVA of transformation capacity. Investments of around R$ 2.9 billion are estimated, with the forecast of creating approximately 6,607 direct jobs, distributed across 5 States of the Federation. Public Consultation No. 019/2021, in which subsidies and additional information were collected to improve the notice proposal, remained open for the period from 04/29/2021 to 06/14/2021. Public Consultation No. 024/2021, which included a lot aimed at the construction of new transmission facilities in the state of Amapá, remained open from 05/20/2021 to 06/14/2021. On 11/16/2020, the Bidding Notice was published by ANEEL. Transmission Auction No. 2/2021, was held on 12/17/2021, at the headquarters of B3, in São Paulo, and ended with an average discount of 50%. The batch results were: Taesa won Lot 1, with an offer of R$129.9 million. The discount was 47.76% in relation to the Permitted Annual Revenue (RAP) predicted by ANEEL. Lot 2 was purchased by Sterlite Brazil Participações S.A. The value offered by the company was R$ 7.09 million, representing a discount of 66.09% in relation to the Permitted Annual Revenue (RAP) established by ANEEL of R$ 20.9 millions. Rialma Administração e Participações S.A. won Lot 3. The company presented an offer of R$ 17.1 million, with a discount of 27.83% in relation to the Allowed Annual Revenue predicted by the Agency. Neoenergia S.A won Lot 4 of Transmission Auction nº 2/2021. To this end, the company offered an Allowed Annual Revenue of R$37.1 million, which resulted in a discount of 58.63% in relation to the initial price of R$89.7 million.
