Description | The auction of transmission facilities aims to grant public electricity transmission services for the construction, operation and maintenance of transmission facilities that will form part of the Basic Network of the National Interconnected System. Recommended for qualification through CPPI Resolution No. 215/2021, 12/16/2021, and qualified through Decree 10,978, dated 02/23/2022, Transmission Auction No. 2/2022 includes 710 km of transmission lines and 3,650 MVA of transformation capacity, in addition to maintaining the service of 743 km of transmission lines and 2,200 MW in converter substations, distributed in 6 lots. Investments of around R$3.27 billion are estimated and the generation of 5,800 direct jobs, distributed across 9 States of the Federation. Public Consultation No. 024/2022, in which subsidies and additional information were collected to improve the notice proposal, remained open for the period from 05/13/2022 to 06/27/2022. Transmission Auction No. 02/2022, was promoted on 12/16/2022 by the National Electric Energy Agency – ANEEL at B3's headquarters in São Paulo and obtained investors for all six auctioned lots. The average discount was 38.19% in relation to the initial Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) established by the Agency in the amount of R$604.064 million, which was reflected in savings of approximately R$5.795 billion for energy consumers. The projects won, with a completion period of 42 to 60 months, will cover the states of Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Pará, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia, Santa Catarina and São Paulo.
