Description | Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd. has begun interior construction on its 3.0 GW photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturing facility in Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. This facility is part of Boviet Solar's U.S. manufacturing expansion and will produce advanced, high-efficiency solar cells to meet the rising demand for Made-in-USA solar components. The project follows the completion of exterior walls and roofing and is the second phase of Boviet Solar's North American manufacturing strategy. The facility is expected to be completed and start mass production in the second half of 2026, creating over 900 skilled jobs and strengthening the domestic solar supply chain. |
