Description

Currently, all buses in our fleet are 40 feet in length, except for our 26-foot Crestline bus which provides community bus services to seniors. Three of our 40-foot buses are scheduled to be retired in 2017. Recently, a 30-foot bus, the Vicinity Bus by Grande West Transportation in British Columbia, is available in the market that we can deploy on our less busy routes. The purchase price is approximately $160,000 less than the conventional 40-foot units and they have been achieving a 30-35% fuel savings in the market as compared to a 40-foot unit. We plan to purchase three of these 30-foot Vicinity buses to replace the three units to be retired in 2017.
