Information Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited [SECI] has come up with 300 MW Solar PV Project at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh with a ticket size of 1428.79 INR Crores. This project in Energy Generation [Renewable] sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Tender Award and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Under the Central Public Sector Undertaking CPSU Scheme Phase-II Government Producer Scheme SECI has been awarded 1200 MW capacity by IREDA with Viability Gap Funding VGF of 44.72 Lakhs per MW Solar PV Power Projects in India Tranche-III. Out of the 1200 MW capacity, 300 MW 390 MWp DC capacity is proposed to be developed in Ramagiri & Muthuvakuntla Villages of Sri Sathyasai District of Andhra Pradesh. Power generated from the project will be purchased by Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited MPPMCL under the Power purchase agreement for 25 years at fixed tariff of Rs.2.57 per kWh.
