Description | Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with ACME Solar Holdings Limited for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh assured peak power project under its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Tranche-VII scheme. The project is designed to supply four hours of assured peak electricity during non-solar hours while maintaining a minimum annual availability of 85%. It will be connected through the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) network and leverage existing night-time transmission connectivity in high solar irradiation regions. The project was secured through SECI’s tariff-based competitive bidding and e-reverse auction process at a tariff of ₹6.28 per unit. Commercial power supply is expected to commence by May 2028. |
