The project will supply wheeled renewable electricity to large energy users through the Nelson Mandela Bay municipal grid and is expected to come online in the first quarter of 2027. It spans 58 ha and will comprise more than 47,000 solar panels mounted on single-axis trackers, generating about 60 GWh of renewable electricity annually. |
