The plant will be commissioned in phases starting from December 2030 and is expected to generate 20,000-25,000 jobs during construction and about 3,500 jobs during operations. The project has received approvals from the Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission and has secured coal linkage under the Centre's SHAKTI policy. |
