Description | Montenegro has laid the foundation stone for a 39 million euro general hospital in the northern town of Pljevlja, as part of a healthcare reform project supported by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) and the European Investment Bank (EIB). The hospital will have a total gross area of approximately 27,500 square metres with five floors including underground areas. The construction is part of a larger 115 million euro project that includes the City Kvart health centre in Podgorica and new equipment for health institutions across Montenegro. The project is expected to take 36 months to complete. Works will be carried out by a consortium of Serbian company Termomont and Podgorica-based firm Fidija. |
