"The ""4 Steps for Unity: The 4th High School’s European Mission"" (4SUM) is a transformative initiative aimed at fostering European values, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship within the diverse community of the 4th High School. Through this Jean Monnet project, students, teachers, and the wider school community will embark on a journey to explore and integrate the core principles of the European Union—dignity, freedom, equality, and unity—into their educational framework. The project is built on the following key aspects: 1. EU Awareness and Education. 2. Empowering Teachers and Students. 3. Community Engagement and Dissemination. 4. Sustainability and Continuity. Key activities include teacher training workshops, interdisciplinary curriculum development, study visits to EU institutions, and the creation of a dedicated ""ChillEUcorner"" for EU-focused activities. The project also leverages digital tools like a YouTube channel to enhance learning and outreach. 4SUM seeks to empower the next generation of informed and engaged European citizens by promoting inclusivity, critical thinking, and mutual respect. The initiative addresses the immediate needs of a multicultural student body but also contributes to the broader goals of the Erasmus+ program, fostering unity and collaboration across Europe."
