Description	German investment firm Pacifico Energy Partners has secured an environmental permit and tariffs under the EEG subsidy scheme for a 40.8-MW wind project in the federal state of Saxony in eastern Germany. The project involves an onshore wind park planned to be installed in the municipality of Weißenborn-Lichtenberg, equipped with six turbines of 6.8 MW each. The wind farm will produce enough electricity to meet the demand of around 60,000 people annually. The project is supported by subsidies awarded in the EEG tender held in May.
