A strategic partnership between Alsym Energy and Juniper Energy to deploy 500 MWh of high-performance non-flammable sodium-ion Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the Mojave Desert, California. The project focuses on regions with extreme heat conditions, using Alsym's Na-Series technology that eliminates thermal runaway and relies on passive cooling to reduce energy consumption and fire risks. The batteries support high charge and discharge rates, enabling multiple daily cycles and fast charging in approximately 30 minutes. The initial phase targets multi-megawatt deployments across California with plans to scale across Juniper Energy's development pipeline.
