Description | Information Department of Telecommunications [DoT] has come up with 502 Aspirational District Scheme in Four states - Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajastha and Uttar Pradesh with a ticket size of 228.94 INR Crores. This project in Telecommunication & Telecom Services sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Not Applicable Economic/Social Impact of the Project Provisioning of 4G based Mobile services in 502 uncovered villages of Aspirational districts of 4 states Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Agreement has been signed with the Project Implementing Agencies, Reliance Jio Infocom Limited on 17.03.2021 for Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Bidding Unit and on 22.03.2021 with Bharti Airtel Limited for Bihar bidding unit and Bharati Hexacom Limited for Rajasthan bidding unit. Till October, 2023, 179 villages have been covered by installing 147 Mobile towers under this project. |
