Celebrating 50 Years International Young Naturefriends For half a century, IYNF has broken barriers, inspired young people and advocated for the causes that matter most: climate justice, sustainability, democracy, solidarity, and youth work. Together, with our members and partners, we’ve planted the seeds of change and advocated for a more just and sustainable future where every voice is heard and every action counts. From leading the fight against climate inequality to empowering youth to shape their democracies, together as Naturefriends, we started to shape a socio-ecological transformation. This anniversary is not just a celebration of our past, but it is also a call to action for the future. The climate crisis threatens our planet and the future of the next generations, but together, we can demand and force action. Currently, we see the global rise of anti-democratic movements and the climate crisis, which are endangering the future of the next generations, but together, we can fight for democracy and global justice. IYNF will use its special year to empower young people with the skills they need to navigate challenges, build connections, and actively shape their societies. In a world of rapid change and complex problems, young people often struggle to make their voices heard and find spaces where they feel safe, supported, and valued. This program offers a solution by providing practical tools and strategies to address issues like disinformation, conflicts, and exclusion while fostering confidence and capability. Embrace the Best in You! Is the educational cycle IYNF is carrying out to support participants in developing stronger communication skills, learning how to express themselves clearly and respectfully, even in challenging situations. They will also acquire the ability to resolve conflicts and mediate effectively, creating understanding and harmony in their communities.
