The bridge will connect the south side of the Boise River Greenbelt with the pathway on Plantation Island, allowing uninterrupted foot and bicycle traffic without detours through neighborhoods or busy roads. The project is funded by a $650,000 grant and will undergo a yearlong design process before construction, which is expected between September 2027 and March 2028. |
