58 MW Hybrid Renewable Energy Project for DCM Shriram Bharuch Facility

DCM Shriram Ltd. has signed an agreement with Serentica Renewables India 38 Private Limited to develop a 58 MW (peak) hybrid renewable energy project dedicated primarily to its Bharuch chemicals facility in Gujarat. The project includes nearly 36 MW of round-the-clock power to ensure reliable electricity for chemical operations. DCM Shriram will invest up to Rs 104.4 crore to acquire a 26% equity stake in the special purpose vehicle under the group captive generation framework. The project is expected to be commissioned by June 30, 2027, increasing DCM Shriram's renewable power capacity to 176 MW across Bharuch and Kota facilities.
