Information National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited [NHPC] has come up with 600 MW SOLAR POWER PROJECT UNDER CPSU SCHEME with a ticket size of 4100.45 INR Crores. This project in Energy Generation [Renewable] sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project 600 MW Solar Power Project is being set up under CPSU Scheme, Phase-II, Tranche-III against the total allocated capacity of 1000 MW to NHPC Limited by IREDA. NHPC is implementing the development of this project through EPC Contract for 600 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Project and transmission line for power evacuation to ISTS sub-station along with comprehensive O&M for 05 years. The power generated from the project shall be evacuated through KPS-III ISTS Substation for use by Government / Government entities through Distribution Companies [DISCOMS]. Only domestically manufactured Cells & Modules shall be used for setting up of Solar Plant as per the provision of CPSU Scheme.
