Description | The Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) has invited bids to develop 600 MW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid projects under a build-own-operate model. The projects include setting up wind-solar hybrid power plants, transmission network up to the interconnection point, land identification, installation, ownership, and obtaining approvals. The power generated will help CESC meet its renewable power and consumption obligations. Selected bidders must bid for a minimum capacity of 50 MW and a maximum of 300 MW, with a 25-year power purchase agreement. The projects must be completed within 20 months from signing the agreement and use commercially established technologies. |
