Description | Trichy corporation has completed a detailed project report for installing a new 7.2 MW solar power plant near the Kalaignar Karunanidhi Integrated Bus Terminus (KKBT) in Panjapur. The project includes erecting reinforced cement concrete pillars to mount solar panels on a surveyed land adjacent to the existing 9.6 MW solar power plant. The electricity generated may be supplied to power the bus terminus. The plant can be connected to the E Pudur substation through the existing underground cable network. The local body will get compensated in electricity bills for operation and maintenance of streetlights and drinking water headworks. |
