Description

This was a Safe Streets & Sidewalks levy-funded project., Created a safer route to Westhill Elementary and Bothell High School by adding paved walkways and crosswalk installations., This projected added paved walkways along the west side of 7th Ave. SE and 88th Ave. NE between NE 203rd St. and 240th St. SE. It also installed crosswalk flashing lights at 88th Ave NE and NE 203rd St (east/west direction), Crosswalk with crosswalk flags at 88th Ave NE and NE 203rd St (north/south direction) and ADA curb ramp upgrades at the intersections of 88th Ave NE and NE 203rd St and 7th Ave SE and 240th St SE., Construction began in November of 2019 and was completed in March 2020. The project is part of the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program. It was funded by the Safe Streets & Sidewalks Program and a WSDOT Safe Routes to School grant. ,
