Description | Multi modal improvements are coming to 80th Av south of 185th St! Design phase has begun for a project to fill sidewalk gaps, install crosswalks with flashing pedestrian beacons, narrow travel lanes, and provide high-quality buffered bike lanes. Expected delivery for this project is 2026, but a phased implementation of the bike lanes is already underway. Street parking on 80th Av south of 185th St is being removed to make room for bike lanes. This will provide an immediate improvement for cyclists using 80th Av, as well as an improved sight-lines for drivers entering onto 80th Av from side streets and driveways. Initially, only signing and bicycle stencils are being installed, but more improvements are coming with the full project delivery in 2026. Read more about the changes coming here |
