8th Critical Mineral Auction for 20 Blocks

planned

The Ministry of Mines in India has launched its eighth round of auctions for critical and strategic mineral blocks, offering 20 mining sites across nine states. This initiative aims to secure domestic resources for high-growth industrial sectors such as clean energy, electric vehicles, defense, and electronics manufacturing. The auction includes 13 newly identified mineral blocks and 7 blocks offered for re-bidding, reflecting ongoing exploration and efforts to ensure project feasibility. The process involves subsequent stages like environmental clearances, land acquisition, and mining infrastructure setup.
