The two applicant partners are from Hungarian side the Basketball Club of Szentes, and from Serbian side the Basketball Association of Banat. The aim of the project is to introduce the basketball to more and more children, and thanks to this they will acquire the basic information needed for healthy lifestyle. The basketball as a team game teach the children for cooperation, as a team is built up from individuals, but it can be only effective if it is lead by unity. Within the confines of the project, altogether 3 training camps will be held, one 5 days long in Banat, and two 7 days long in Szentes. Between these camps there will be prepare tournaments 3 times, two in Serbia and one in Hungary. The main aim of the project to introduce the importance of sport to the youth that contributes to the running of a healthy life very much. During the project on the two sides of the border we will hold presentations for more than 3000 children about the theme, and the physical characteristics of 600 children will be measured to make up an effective, personal training plan for them. Also part of the project the further training of the professionals, coaches, referees who work with basketball, as the Serbian basketball is known to be part of the frontline of the world and because of this, the Hungarian professionals also would learn from their Serbian colleagues.
