A Missing Link to Energy Efficient Performance of Buildings

This LIFE project aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions in multi-apartment buildings in Rivne, Ukraine. By establishing an Energy Efficiency Office (EEO) as a one-stop-shop, the project provides integrated services, including energy audits, technical assistance, and funding support. The EEO will also actively promote energy efficiency among residents and building managers, addressing market barriers and increasing participation. Project objectives: SO1: Provide access for Rivne condominiums to modern and integrated market solutions for energy efficiency in multi apartment buildings. SO2: Improve access for Rivne condominiums to modern financial tools for energy efficiency. SO3: Demonstrate example of the integrated energy efficiency services in Ukraine. The main project impact is the accelerated deployment of energy efficiency measures in multi apartment building, which is measured as: 1) 10 more energy efficiency projects were implemented annually in condominiums compared to the average annual number for 5 years before the project. 2) 50% more investments attracted annually for the energy efficiency measures in multi apartment buildings compared to average over 5 years before the project. We intend to reach the impact by the end of the project, i.e. that in the third project year these indicators of accelerated deployment will be reached. The project will trigger primary energy savings of 3,42 GWh/year and investments of 3,52 mil EUR by implementing 30 energy efficiency projects in multiapartment buildings.
