Traumas affect over 55Mln children in the EU. This is the result of an undervalued phenomenon conditioned by the lack of knowledge of professional in care disciplines. MARTE aims to tackle this by improving quality of support provided by practitioners to minors suffering from ACEs through tailored capacity building standardized in new protocols and procedures. Needs assessment to identify training needs, medical, psychological, social, educational and juridical issues; Capacity building and training for practitioners involved on the ACEs issues. A focus on tackling ACEs by resilience; local cascade training; Pilot process of strengthening resilience; International mutual learning; Guidelines and operational cooperation protocols elaboration. DIRECT AND INDIRECT TARGETS 150 professionals in needs assessment; 100 children in needs assessment; 40 co-applicants professionals trained; 200 professionals in cascade training; 40 children in the process pilot; 2000 professionals, CSOs and Institutions in online Communication Campaign; 400 professionals in Info-Days for CSOs and Institutions; 400 participants Info-Day in Universities; 2000 professionals, CSOs and Institutions in Communication Campaign EXPECTED RESULTS For professionals: Professionals will increase their a) awareness and multidisciplinary cooperation about ACEs cases; b) knowledge and skills on the topic. This will in turn improve the effectiveness of services and a more concrete defence of children rights For children: Children will experience more effective and holistic treatment services and interaction with professionals will be easier and more productive given their higher skills. Consequently, children will display higher levels of resiliency and self-confidence IMPACT OF THE EXPECTED RESULTS Through tailored training tool for the practitioners and by the protocols with the local authorities, the project will provide a robust support to the system of prevention, identification and treatment of ACEs cases
