A12/A15 motorway (ViA15) PPP project in Gelderland

The project involves the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of 12 km of road in the province of Gelderland, connecting the A15 to the A12 in the Netherlands.The A15 will be extended from the Ressen junction as a motorway with 2x2 lanes to the A12 between Duiven and Zevenaar. The current A15 will be widened between the Valburg and Ressen junctions. The current, obsolete junction 29 (Zevenaar / Griethse Poort) will be removed. The new route of the A15 will be connected to the N839 at Bemmel / Huissen and the N810 between Duiven and Zevenaar. A bridge over the Pannerdensch Canal will be constructed. The A12 will also be widened between the Westervoort and Oud-Dijk junctions. On the A12, except for the junction with the A15, there will be a completely new connection for Zevenaar at the Hengelderweg. The project will help to improve traffic flows between the Amsterdam/Rotterdam conurbation and Germany. The construction period will be three years, followed by a 20-year operations and maintenance period.
