A494 River Dee Bridge Replacement

The project involves building a new bridge southeast of the current A494 River Dee Bridge.The A494 carries traffic between Dolgellau within Snowdonia National Park and the outskirts of Chester in the North West of England. It crosses the River Dee close to the border between the two countries on a structure carrying almost 70,000 vehicles daily. The bridge would carry traffic in both directions and feature a path for cyclists and pedestrians.
